Police are appealing for help to catch a robber who forced his way into a pensioner's home.

The woman, in her seventies, was pushed and her handbag stolen after a man burst into her home on Moorland Road, Pudsey, at 11.30pm yesterday.

Police say he threatened her and demanded cash and her car keys.

He pushed her on to a sofa before fleeing with her handbag.

It is believed another man was with him.

The woman was shaken but unhurt.

The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, slim, wearing a hip length beige anorak with the hood up. He spoke with a local accent.
