Councillors in Silsden are stepping up their campaign to stop dogs fouling the town's streets.
The councillors will start by putting up posters on lampposts in a bid to promote the anti-fouling message.
Craven councillor Michael Kelly told the meeting: "Dog fouling has been the bane of my life since I have been in this area.
"I believe we need to be educating the children.
"We need to be in the schools, then the students can go home and pass it on to their parents."
The council will be teaming up with Bradford Council dog warden Terry Singh later this month to develop the campaign.
The council decided to request a flashing speed sign from Keighley Area Committee. It also opted to request an increase in police action with speed cameras and speed watch in the area.
