People over the age of 50 feeling fed up, bored or lonely could benefit from a new project.
The Networker Project is open to isolated older people living in the Shipley area.
People can be referred to the project by doctors, nurses, social workers or community workers.
After referral, a health networker makes contact and helps engage people to join groups and activities they may be interested in.
The service is free and has been successful for many people who have made new friends, become more active, healthier and confident.
For more information, or to make a referral, please contact Natasha at Shipley and Frizinghall Health Action Links for Everyone on (01274) 437060.
