Bradford theatre company Mind the Gap is celebrating after being awarded a slice of a £300,000 grant from Arts Council England.
The group will embark on a programme of work at its new Lister Mills site after receiving £4,610.
It will develop artistic links with China and its long-term vision of becoming an international centre for the practice, study and development of theatre for people with learning and physical disabilities.
Kirklees Council was also awarded £5,000 to strengthen ties with partner organisations, including Lawrence Batley Theatre. Kirklees Youth Offending Team netted £3,700 to develop an arts programme for excluded young people.
A total of 29 projects across Yorkshire and the Humber benefited from the latest round of £313,251 funding.
