Plans to construct a new entrance at a Skipton card shop have failed to find favour with town councillors.
Members of the planning committee decided to lodge an objection to the scheme at Birthdays' shop at 53-55 High Street.
They said the proposed changes would detrimentally affect the symmetry of the building.
The application will now go before Craven District Council.
