A WOMAN has received a suspended sentence for being in contempt of court for postings she made on social media.
Aisha Ali-Khan, 37, of Low Fell Close, Keighley, was handed a two-month jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, when she appeared at Leeds Crown Court on Monday.
Ali-Khan, who worked as an aide to George Galloway when he was MP for Bradford West, calls herself a campaigner and activist on her Twitter account.
