Emergency services are responding to a serious incident in Bradford city centre.
A woman has suffered serious injuries in a road traffic collision in Leeds Road, near its junction with Vicar Lane.
Police were called at 1.55pm today.
A large group of onlookers has gathered at the scene, which is just outside the job centre.
One passer-by said: "It looks really serious. I could see them doing chest pumps on someone in the road."
Another said: "The woman involved is undergoing CPR at the moment in a part of the road that has been screened off."
Another said he thought the woman was in her 60s. It's thought she was walking across the road from the Broadway Shopping Centre and had her son and partner with her.
Matthew Burgoyne, 23, said: "I just heard tyres screeching. I saw a woman's body going flying across the road.
"There was a lot of people surrounding her."
He added that one woman began to giver her CPR straight away, while a wagon driver blocked the road and workers began to re-direct the traffic.
Brett Wainwright, 22, saw the crash unfold.
He said: "My friend was in the army and he went over to help.
"He was on the phone straight away to the ambulance."
Natasha Cheale, 24, added: "I was shocked, I couldn't even look."
