A historic wartime steam locomotive withdrawn from service more than three decades ago is returning to action.
The "War Department Auster-ity" number 90733 is due to take to the rails again on Monday.
The engine will be in service on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (K&WVR), where volunteers have spent many years restoring it. During the Second World War, the Government placed an order for more than 900 of the heavy freight locos, which were used across Europe by the British army. After the war some were based overseas and others passed to British Rail, thenbecame extinct.
Number 90733 was rescued in Sweden in the early 1970s and brought to the K&WVR.
