BRADFORD businesses have been invited to a meeting that will explain plans for a Business Improvement District in the city.
The Bradford BID would see a new levy on business rates being pooled to pay for various trade-boosting ideas. It could be worth £2.5m over five years, but needs to win a local referendum before it can begin
The open meeting, being held at the Midland Hotel at 6pm on Tuesday September 12, will explain the current consultation process to businesses, and how the scheme could benefit them.
The group behind the plans (pictured) have also just launched a website, bradfordbid.co.uk explaining the thinking behind BID.
