IT was a sticky end to an otherwise fun day for West Yorkshire Police's community engagement team who attended a community event in Parkside Park, Bradford, today.
Organised events included a climbing wall, games, arts and crafts.
However, there must also have been a stall selling slushies, several of which ended up gracing the side of the Force's mode of transport.
A police officer and community support officer from West Yorkshire Police Bradford East went along to Parkside Park as part of a socialising and public engagement activity and on Twitter invited people to go along and say hello.
However, their next tweet was less jovial and included a photograph of their van plastered with slush drinks.
They commented: "Such a terrible shame a few teenagers decided to ruin a great community engagement event by throwing slushies at the van." They ended the tweet with the hashtag: #noparentalguidance.
