A RAPIST who attacked three different women over a three-year period has been warned to expect a lengthy jail sentence.
Lee Duffy, 26, of Bierley Lane, Bierley, Bradford, was found guilty, by majority verdicts of 10-2, of four charges of rape, one of attempted rape and one of assault causing actual bodily harm, by a jury at Bradford Crown Court.
The jury of ten men and two women also convicted Duffy unanimously of two further charges of causing actual bodily harm.
He had denied all charges.
The jury was unable to reach verdicts on two further charges of rape and was discharged from those counts by Judge Colin Burn.
The judge was told by prosecutor Rupert Doswell that he would have to consider the issue of dangerousness before sentencing.
Mr Doswell said victim personal statements had been obtained from the three women.
Judge Burn adjourned sentencing until July 19 for a probation report.
He told Duffy that a lengthy custodial sentence was inevitable.
Duffy was remanded in custody until the sentencing hearing.
