THE owners of a restaurant and bed and breakfast have appealed for the return of stolen photograph (pictured).
The framed photograph of a woman, believed to date from the 1920s, was taken from the Old Registry in Main Street, some time between 6pm and midnight on May 27.
It had been given as a wedding present seven years ago to the Old Registry's owners Peter and Leanne Quinn.
Mr Quinn said the picture had been in a frame, but whoever took it had dismantled this to remove the photograph. The frame was left behind.
Mr Quinn, 32, said he hoped the person responsible would have second thoughts about what they had done and return the picture, which had been on a window sill in the Old Registry's women's toilet.
"It had been there for about three years," he added. "I'm hoping that someone might feel bad about stealing it and we'll get it back in the post.
"It's a 1920s photo of a lady in a dress striking a pose, and is also signed. It has lots of sentimental value and to us is priceless.
"If anyone knows of its whereabouts we are offering a £100 reward for its safe return."
