A MAN appeared in court yesterday, charged with grievous bodily harm following an "altercation" at a house in Bradford.
John Gaskin, 28, of Cresswell Place, Horton Bank Top, was remanded in custody at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court.
His next court hearing was scheduled for Bradford Crown Court on May 24.
Police were called to a terraced property in Cresswell Place at about 11.15am on Tuesday, April 25.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said a woman at the property suffered facial injuries.
"Police attended a property in Bradford following reports of an altercation. Officers attended an address in Cresswell Place, Bradford.
"A woman was taken to hospital via ambulance and a 28-year-old man was arrested."
