Youngsters in the Girlington area are being given road safety messages to keep them safe.
Children, aged between five and 11, who attend mosques in the area, are being given high-visibility waistcoats and arm-bands to keep them safe on their way there and home.
The pupils have also been trained on finding safer crossing places when they are on their way to mosques.
The waistcoats have been funded by Bradford Council's Neighbourhood Road Safety Initiative and the road safety training has been carried out by Bradford Council's Road Safety Team in partnership with Anissa UK, who conduct research in communities.
A survey by Anissa highlighted concern in the community about road safety and now more than 3,000 waistcoats have been handed out to keep children safe.
Coun Anne Hawkesworth, Bradford Council's executive member for environment and culture, said: "This is a great way of ensuring that we are keeping children safe on our roads. The waistcoats make children visible when crossing the roads and the training teaches them valuable road safety lessons."
