Tucked away between Daisy Hill and Allerton in Bradford is a garden which is considered to be in the finest in Yorkshire.
Green fingered Pam Greenwood, above, 68, takes great care with her garden in Shaftesbury Court off Shaftesbury Avenue.
The quarter of an acre plot, crammed full of clematis and summer blooms, is one of the National Gardens Scheme's gardens which will open for charity on Sunday, July 29, between 11am and 5pm.
Mrs Greenwood said: "I have been a gardener for 40 years and I have always been interested in botany. To have a good garden, you need to have passion, knowledge, but most importantly you need to have fun."
Admission is £2.50 for adults, free for children.
