A FAMILY fun day with live music and activities for all ages was held at a popular Bradford pub on Easter Sunday with proceeds raised being given to charity.
The day had been organised by James Lynch, 26, landlord of the Black Swan pub, in Thornton Road, in aid of Andy’s Man Club, a Halifax-based charity founded by Luke Ambler, which helps tackle male suicide.
Popular live bands and acts included October Queen, Sleepy Jake & The Duvets, Foxes Faux, Partisan, Troubled Troubadours and Days of Riot.
Mr Lynch’s second pub, the Cross Keys, in Skipton, held a simultaneous event with pub regulars taking part in a cycle ride from each pub to the other and back as part of the fundraising effort.
Family fun included games, face painting and a barbecue.
On Tuesday Mr Lynch was due to head off to Ibiza where he had been invited to take up a singing career for the next six months.
A manager will oversee his businesses here.
