Libraries in the Bradford area are to give partially-sighted and blind people the chance to get together and find out more about services for them.
A coffee morning will be held from 10am until noon on Thursday, July 12, at the Learning Zone in Bradford Central Library to highlight services offered by the council's libraries for blind and partially-sighted people.
The event has been organised as part of a campaign by the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB).
At the coffee morning, there will be a chance to learn more about reading groups, the travelling library, the housebound service as well as a demonstration of supernova' software which enables visually-impaired people to enlarge text on the screen or to hear it being read.
