Cullingworth Gala bosses have made an eleventh-hour plea for help at this Sunday's event.
Lesley Welch, for the gala, said several people had pulled out because of cricket commitments.
"We would love to hear from any adults who could spare just a few hours on Sunday afternoon to help man stalls," she said.
"We would also welcome any other offers of support for the event."
The procession starts at 1.30pm and the gala is officially opened at 2pm.
