Residents of Cross Hills are bracing themselves for the start of more roadworks.
On Monday United Utilities will start its 100,000 project to replace 800 metres of underground pipe in Skipton Road.
The work, which will take up to ten weeks, will mean the closure to through traffic of Skipton Road from Kildwick Crossing to its junction with Keighley Road.
Diversions will be in place and a temporary ban put on HGVs using Cross Hills as a through route.
