Bradford-based ISG Totty Building has started work on a 750,000 project to extend facilities at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport.
Totty is working on the scheme with Pennine Care NHS Trust for the hospital in Cheshire.
The contractor will build a new two-storey extension and refurbish existing consulting suites on the ground floor of the main hospital building.
Gary Hughes, construction director at ISG Totty Building, said: "By demonstrating an enviable track record of successful project delivery, allied to our expertise of carrying out schemes within live environments, the company is securing an ever increasing share of this key market."
