Skipton fire crews were called at 5am today to a property being threatened by at Heath Court in Low Bradley.
Firefighters diverted water away from the property, cleared a drain and stacked bricks up to stop the water entering the house.
West Yorkshire Police has issued a flood warning for roads around the Skipton area.
The A65, A59, A629 and B6265 are among some of the roads.
