The eighth household waste recycling centre in the district officially opened its doors yesterday.
Bradford Council's executive member for environment and culture, Councillor Anne Hawkesworth, did the honours at the site at Midland Road, Manningham.
It is hoped the new 1 million facility will provide a major boost to recycling and reduce fly-tipping in the area.
It is open from 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday, 8am until 4pm on Saturday and 9am until 4pm on Sunday, and is for the disposal of household waste only.
