Two youths accused of attacking a terminally-ill teenager will stand trial next month.
The 16 and 17-year-old are accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Dean Whitaker during an attack in January.
The two, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, both pleaded not guilty to the wounding with intent charge during a brief hearing at Bradford Crown Court today.
Dean, 16, needs dialysis treatment three times a week for his rare an incurrable condition - Crescentric Glomoral Nephritus. He is desperately in need of a kidney transplant.
The illness make him very tired and he has to eat and drink through a straw.
The two teenagers were released on bail to return to the crown court for their trial on Tuesday, July 10.
