Fagley residents are being asked how they would like to spend £30,000 on improving the town at an event at St Clare's Church, Bradford, on Saturday.
An I love Fagley' day, organised by the Fagley Locals in Partnership (FLIP) group, will give the local community a chance to discuss and celebrate the money allocated from Bradford Vision funding.
Councillor Ann Beardmore (Lib-Dem, Eccleshill) said: "Engaging with local residents through consultation will give us the information we need to ensure we spend this money in the best possible way for the area."
FLIP will have activities for all ages at the event, including a logo competition and face painting, from noon to 4pm.
Sarah Blow, Neighbourhood Partnership Manager for Bradford Vision, said: "The I love Fagley' celebration event is really exciting, and we want residents to celebrate with us as well as help plan for the future.
"People in Fagley have a great opportunity to get involved and make a difference."
