A Manorlands golf tournament held for the second time raised twice as much money as last year.
This year's Mark Swift Memorial Trophy attracted 26 golfers and raised £2,500 for the Oxenhope hospice.
The proceeds were boosted by Fardew Golf Club, in East Morton, which gave discounted rates to competitors.
Airedale Hospital worker Ian Kennedy, chief organiser of the event, thanked everyone who attended.
He said: "The care and dedication that goes into running Manorlands is unbelievable.
"To keep up with rising costs it relies on fundraising events and for people to put their hands in their pockets."
