A Bradford animal centre is appealing for cat lovers to come forward and offer a home to some of the 122 cats and kittens being looked after at the RSPCA Mount Street centre.

Deputy manager Alison Maltby said: "We need people to adopt a cat or kitten - or if people have lost a cat to come forward to see if we have their cat here."

People interested in adopting a cat can contact the centre on (01274) 723063 of visit the centre during the week from 11am to 3pm, expect Thursday when it is closed, or at the weekend from 11am to 2.30pm.

The cats are vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and there is a £55 fee. Kittens under 16 weeks are £75.
