The North Kirklees WATCH group, which is based at Oakwell Hall Country Park in Birstall, will be discovering pond life at its meeting on Saturday, July 7. The group will be pond-dipping from 10am to noon and children aged 12 and under are welcome to take part. The event is free but places have to be booked. Call (01924) 326240 for more information.
