Scarecrows will be out in force in Guiseley as part of an event to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and local charities.
A competition to find the best scarecrow has been introduced for the first time this year in the Aireborough Soroptimists Garden Wander.
The event, from 1.30pm to 5pm on Sunday, July 8 will give nature lovers the chance to visit beautiful local gardens.
It will also include plant stalls, cakes, raffle, barbecue and cream teas as well as a scarecrow competition featuring more than 20 specimens.
Tickets cost £3.50 and can be obtained in advance from Mrs Anita Yeadon on 01943 877801, or from the BHP Hairdressing Salons at White Cross and Otley Road, Guiseley. They are also available on the day from Morrisons' Car Park, Guiseley.
Ends.
