Bradford Grammar School has some rather famous names among its alumni.
World-famous artist David Hockney, champion triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, Olympic swimmer Adrian Moorhouse are counted among the former pupils to have worn the maroon and blue uniform.
Journalist Alistair Campbell, supermarket supremo Sir Ken Morrison, former Chancellor Denis Healey and composer Frederick Delius also kicked-off their distinguished careers at Bradford Boys' Grammar School.
The school's history stretches back to 1548, and it has occupied the current Keighley Road building since 1949.
Founded in 1875, Bradford Girls' Grammar School has been based at the Lady Royd estate on Squire Lane since 1936, after it moved from its original premises in Hallfield Road, Manningham. Previously an independent school, it became a free school in 2013.
Famous former pupils include interior designer Linda Barker and TV presenter Anita Rani and former Labour politician Barbara Castle.
