Hundreds of soldiers will be packed into Centenary Square, Bradford, on Saturday and Sunday for Veterans Weekend.
The soldiers from Bradford taking part in the event, organised by Bradford Council, will meet the public and talk about their duties.
Other activities in the Veterans Village in Centenary Square will include a climbing wall, exhibition of military uniforms, vehicles and weapons.
A tank will be there, along with a field hospital and kitchen.
There will be marching displays and demonstrations along with spy trails and quizzes organised by Bradford Tourist Information Centre.
Visitors will get lots of opportunities to take part in events during the two days and speak to the soldiers and veterans about their experiences.
