A man and a youth arrested in connection with the death of a Bradford man after a collision with a truck have been released by police.

Francis Lee Conway, also known as Frank, died in Leeds General Infirmary after the incident in Canal Road, Bradford, at 1.30am on Friday.

Police believe the 33-year-old may have been running away from a group of men when he was in the accident with the recovery vehicle.

A 26-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth were arrested on Friday night and have now been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Police are appealing for up to five men who were in a black car to come forward, or for the public to help identify them.
