As well as displaying their work in London's Battersea Park at the annual event celebrating Britain's fashion design talent of the future, the eight Bradford College students who took part in Graduate Fashion Week also had the chance to see former Spice Girl and style icon, Victoria Beckham.

Angela Loftus, the College's BA Hons fashion course tutor, said they managed to get photographs of the Queen of Style who was judging the catwalk collections.

Even though the college students didn't have any collections in the catwalk show, it's likely Posh will have glanced at their work as she apparently walked round the various displays, some showcasing the Bradford students' work.

Following their brush with celebrity, it's back to reality for the rest of the FE and Higher Education students who are busily preparing 15 collections for their forthcoming fashion show at the Yorkshire Craft Centre within the College's Lister Building on Friday (June 29).

The mens and womenswear collections comprise styles for all generations. There are hoodies and jerseys inspired by the street, for the young ones and there's a range of sophisticated styles too. "There's something to suit everyone's tastes," says Angela.

"It covers a wide range of markets, the youth market into something more sophisticated. It has a good blend."
