New magistrates have been appointed to the Keighley bench.
They will be sworn in at a ceremony, at Bingley Courthouse, in August.
They are:
- Mrs Olwyn H Cahill, who has recently retired from the Inland Revenue. She and her husband enjoy travelling and her other interests include current affairs, reading, gardening and walking
- Diane L Craven, who with her husband has lived in the area for three-and-a-half years. Her interests include keeping fit and outdoor pursuits
- Mrs Sheila Lambert, who was born in Keighley and has lived locally all her life. She is married with two grown-up children and is a registered nurse manager in a local nursing home
- Richard M Ormondroyd, who has lived locally for 20 years. The father-of-two has worked for the family textile company for over 30 years
- Dr Afruj A Ruf, who has lived in Keighley for most of his life. He is married with five children and is a biomedical scientist working for the NHS. Hobbies include badminton and cricket
- W Paul Tibbatts, who is married with three children and seven grandchildren. He has recently retired after a career as a logistics manager for several major UK breweries. He has served with the Territorial Army for 22 years and enjoys running a smallholding, walking and conservation
- Mrs Sharon Williams, who has lived locally with her husband and family for eight years. She worked for a major financial services provider for 16 years and is currently a full-time mum to pre-school-age twins.
