Van abandoned and set on fire on country lane
A VAN was dumped and set on fire on a country lane near Oxenhope last night.
A fire crew from Keighley station was called to the blaze on Hill House Edge Lane at 10.30pm. By the time they arrived at the scene, the vehicle, a Ford Transit Connect van, had been completely destroyed by the fire.
A passing motorist had called in the fire, and helped stop traffic from getting too close until the fire service could arrive.
Firefighters believe the car was dumped there and set on fire, and police are currently investigating the incident.
