A TEENAGER is in hospital with "serious" injuries after being attacked with what police believe to be a golf club.
The 19 year-old man suffered injuries to his back and face in the assault on Broadstone Way, Holme Wood.
Officers were called to the incident just after 10.40pm on Friday, and the area was cordoned off, with some witnesses initially reporting the attack as a suspected stabbing.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the man was taken to hospital with "serious, but not life-threatening" injuries.
Officers have reportedly identified five suspects - two men and three women - and enquiries into the incident are continuing.
