VITAL public services for Pudsey residents are now available under one roof after the opening of a new community hub in the town's library.
The existing library services have now had services from the old One Stop Centre at Pudsey Town Hall added to what is on offer, including housing, benefits and registrars.
Local councillors Josie Jarosz, Richard Lewis and Mick Coulson hope to have their advice surgeries there every first and third Thursday of the month from 5pm to 6pm.
Pudsey Town Hall will now be used by integrated Health and Social Care teams, providing an essential local base for council staff and their working partners.
Councillor Jarosz (Labour, Pudsey), pictured, said: “This is an exciting new development for Pudsey library as additional services place it at the heart of the community. Having worked at Pudsey library I understand how important libraries are to local people. We have worked in Pudsey for many years to keep our library open, and the investment in improved access and the addition of other vital services means that the library can now be enjoyed by more and more people.”
