The launch of the Bradford branch of head injury support group, Headway, will take place at Bradford City Hall on Tuesday.
Headway Bradford is part of Headway UK, a national support group whose regional branches support victims of head injuries, their families and carers.
Chairman Julie Scott said: "In our experience there was no organisation in Bradford dedicated to the needs of the brain injured person, their carers or families, hence why we have formed this new branch of Headway."
All members of the group in Bradford have been personally affected, either as a partner, parent or sibling of a victim of brain injury.
The launch will include talks from experts in brain injury, including Rory O'Connor, a consultant in rehabilitation at Airedale Hospital, Steeton, Eileen Kennedy, consultant neuropsychologist at Airedale Hospital and Steve Angus, a social worker with Bingley Head Injury Team, who works with a number of brain injured people.
