A man found dead in a Bradford street had taken a high dose of heroin, an inquest was told.
The body of Nicholas Binns, 45, was found at the junction of Bertram Road and St Paul's Road, Manningham, on February 24.
Tests revealed traces of cocaine and a high level of heroin. A post-mortem examination concluded death was due to the toxic effects of heroin.
Recording a verdict of abuse of drugs, Coroner Roger Whittaker said Mr Binns, of Lincoln Street, Wakefield, had been taken to hospital in December after being involved in a road accident. It was found then that he had taken an overdose of opiates.
