A man charged with murder following the death of 62-year-old Tarsam Lal will stand trial next month.
Balbir Singh, 49, of Maudsley Street, Bradford, pleaded not guilty to the murder allegation during a hearing before the city's crown court today.
The Honorary Recorder of Bradford, Judge Stephen Gullick, confirmed that his five-day trial was listed to begin on July 16.
Mr Lal died at the Bradford Royal Infirmary in February after being found with severe injuries at his flat in Currer Street, Little Germany.
Singh was remanded back into custody by Judge Gullick until his trial.
