A 36-year-old Keighley man will appear in court after a poodle was killed by a pack of seven dogs on a Northumbria beach last month.
The man has been summonsed to appear at Alnwick Magistrates Court in Northumberland following the incident at a beach at Warkworth.
A Northumbria police spokesman said: "It was reported that a group of lurcher dogs had attacked two poodles and that one of the poodles had died on Sunday, May 20. A 36-year-old man from Yorkshire has been reported for summons."
