A teenage burglar has been told to expect a substantial custodial sentence when he comes back before a judge at Bradford Crown Court later this month.
John Trotter, 18, of Kentmere House, Bradford, pleaded at a hearing before Judge Christopher Prince today to a charge of burglary with intent to steal at a house in Erskine Parade, Bradford, on March 3, and a further allegation of common assault.
Trotter, who has previously been made the subject of an anti-social behaviour order, was remanded back into custody to await his sentence on June 25.
Judge Prince warned the teenager that he faced a substantial period in custody, but he said because of his age the court needed more information about him.
