A young murder victim, found at a house in Keighley, died from severe head injuries, police have revealed.
The man, named last night as Nazeer Ahmed, 22, of Rupert Street, Lawkholme, was found by paramedics at a property on the same street, at about 4.15pm on Thursday.
The ambulance crew alerted police who launched a murder investigation after attending the scene.
They arrested three men in Keighley and a fourth man was detained in Cheshire. Three were last night being questioned at an unnamed West Yorkshire police station about the man's death. One man was released without charge.
The investigation is being carried out by detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team based at Eccleshill, Bradford.
A police spokesman said a post-mortem examination by an Home Office pathologist had found the cause of the man's death to be severe head injuries. No details have been given of how Mr Ahmed received the injuries. Forensic inquiries are continuing to establish what happened.
