A Bradford mosque has netted £30,801 to install solar panels.
The WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental) grant meets half the cost of the solar powered heating at the new Anjuman-e-Jamali mosque in Plumpton Street, Girlington.
WREN Yorkshire project manager Stewart Bunney said: "This is a fantastic project that has been driven by the community and their tremendous fundraising efforts.
"They have gone to great lengths to ensure that the new building is truly sustainable and in doing so have developed a building that is original and a great asset to Bradford."
The grant matches a previous award from the Energy Saving Trust.
Dr Hussain Cochin, an Anjuman-e-Jamali trustee, said: "Our community is very concerned about protecting the environment and we are very keen to utilise new technology and take advantage of renewable energy."
