Caring youngsters at Crossflatts Primary School Children in Bingley are egg-static at the school's latest arrivals.
A pair blue tits has nested in a bird box situated among the branches of a red oak in the school's sensory garden. A total of eight chicks recently made their entrance into the world.
And in order to give the pupils a bird's-eye view of the action, the school has rigged up a camera which posts images directly to the school's website at www.crossflatts.bradford.sch.uk.
The school has also kept a selection of hen, duck and goose eggs in an incubator in the school's entrance lobby, which have all hatched in recent days.
Head teacher Hilary Craven said: "This has been a wonderful eggs-perience' for the whole school community and has given the children an insight into the wonders of nature."
