A month after E-coli broke out in Cottingley people are still suffering from the severe form of food poisoning.
The toll of people struck down with the bug has reached 38.
Health chiefs have confirmed a total of 58 people have been tested since the outbreak of the bug at the beginning of May. Of the 58 tested, 38 are confirmed cases, four are not connected, three people are awaiting results and 13 have tested negative. Seven of those tested were children, with two testing positive.
The news comes after Bradford Council gave D G Spauls' butchers the go-ahead to reopen in the village's Parade, following its closure on May 9.
Manager Darren Spaul said: "I am extremely happy we have re-opened and our customers have come back to us.
"The support has been fantastic and we would like that to continue, everything is really back to normal.
"I closed the shop voluntarily, the investigators will probably never find the source."
Bradford Council's environmental health department, the Health Protection Agency and Bradford and Airedale Teaching Primary Care Trust are continuing to work together to uncover the cause and source of the infection and prevent any potential spread.
