The winner of a once-in-a-lifetime prize has moved into his luxury penthouse at the modern Gatehaus complex.
Adrian Gill, 37, won a free year in the luxury pad when he selected the right key to the door in November last year, beating five other finalists.
The two-bedroomed apartment was up for grabs after the Telegraph & Argus teamed up with Asquith Properties to launch the competition.
Mr Gill, who has never lived away from home before, said he was delighted with what he described as a "lifestyle change".
He said: "I've won other things before, but it doesn't compare to this. The other competitions I won were nice experiences, but this is a lifestyle change, basically."
After having lived with his parents in Wyke all his life, Mr Gill said he was only too pleased at getting his own place.
He said: "I've never lived in a city centre before, so I'm just getting used to that as well.
"Surprisingly, it's very quiet - I have never heard any of the work going on in the building or the road outside."
His new home comprises two bedrooms, a living room and kitchen, a bathroom, storage space and a particularly impressive sun terrace overlooking Leeds Road.
Mr Gill said: "I haven't had much chance to enjoy this sun terrace yet because of the weather.
"When it is nice I'll get the morning sun and throughout most of the day - it should be a bit of a sun trap."
Mr Gill, a technical engineer in Leeds, said he was looking forward to inviting guests round for dinner parties.
He said: "I've just had my family round so far, and they just think it's brilliant."
With a keen interest in films, Mr Gill said he was glad he was living near facilities such as the National Media Museum and the big screen in the city centre.
He said: "Who needs a plasma screen television when you've got a cinema right on your doorstep?"
As part of the competition, Mr Gill will also receive a copy of the T&A every day free for a year.
Russell Baker, chairman of Asquith Properties, said he was extremely pleased with the progress of the development and the standard of the quality of the flats.
He said they hope to have fully finished by August: "The apartments are exceeding all expectations, they are looking extremely nice.
"We have obviously finished Block B, where My Gill is living, and we have now finished Block C and are expecting to move residents in this week.
"All of the apartments have been sold up now, and what we are glad about is that most of them are going to be lived in.
"If you go to Leeds you will see how, although many of the developments have been bought up, nobody actually lives there, people have bought them for investment.
"But it was always our aim to provide people with homes, and although people were sceptical about high quality apartments in Bradford, this has proved there is a market for it."
