A member of staff at a bookmaker's was forced to hand over cash at gunpoint.
The man had just opened up the William Hill bookies in Leeds Road, Thornbury, at 9.10am today when two masked men, one armed with what appeared to be a small black handgun, followed him inside.
He was threatened and forced to hand over a cash tray containing a small amount of money. The robbers are believed to have fled the scene on foot.
The man was shocked but uninjured.
The suspects were both white and in their 20s. One was over 6ft tall. The other was shorter and slim.
