A man and woman, both in their 70s, were injured when they were involved in a collision with a car.
The pedestrians, from Liversedge, were in an accident with the grey Skoda Fabia on High Street in Heckmondwike after the car had turned into the road from Market Street.
Both were taken to Dewsbury Hospital, where the man, 78, is described as stable, and the woman, 79, as comfortable.
Police want to trace anyone who may have seen them prior to the collision and any witnesses to the crash itself, which happened on Saturday, just before 10am, to call Kirklees North Road Traffic Police on (01924) 206346.
