AN EXHIBITION of photographs capturing people with learning disabilities and autism has gone on display at the National Media Museum.
Great Interactions has seen photographer Polly Braden travel across England over the last two years, capturing the lives of disabled people.
Now 44 of the book's photographs are being showcased at the Bradford museum. They include people with learning difficulties going to their school's prom, having their hair cut, swimming and getting married.
The book and free exhibition, which was unveiled yesterday, has been completed in partnership with learning disability charity MacIntyre.
Mrs Braden said: "I think it's fantastic that the National Media Museum is running the exhibition.
"The photographs are very joyful.
"It's good to see disabled people for what they can do and what they can achieve."
Polly also ran a photography workshop with members of the Bradford People First learning disability group, at yesterday's event, also attended by London 2012 Paralympic swimmer Dan Pepper.
Jo Quinton-Tulloch, National Media Museum director, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be holding this exhibition.
"It celebrates people and is really inspiring. Polly has done a great job for the last two years."
Great Interactions will run at the Media Museum until April 10.
