YOUNGSTERS from a Pudsey school have been teaching fellow pupils’ lessons in on-line safety.
The student ambassadors from Fulneck School led assemblies for junior pupils and another for their senior school peers about the do's and don’ts of surfing the web and using social media sites.
Both assemblies were held during e-safety week, and covered topics including grooming, safe browsing and dealing with cyber bullying and on-line abuse.
Houry Stewart, Fulneck School IT teacher, said: “We certainly don’t want to stop any student from going on-line, but what we want to do is equip them with the knowledge to be able surf in safety and recognise any potential dangers.”
